A new educational TV show, the first of its kind dubbed TOSKELE will officially be launched on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Osu Children’s Home (Social Center) Labone, near Labone SDA School at exactly 10:00 am.
The TOSKELE which is currently being shown on Pan African TV every Saturday between 6 and 7pm is a series of science Physics Electronic Experiment.
TOSKELE is being hosted by Joy News’ MzGee as the Quiz Mistress and is opened to all students in primary, junior high and senior high schools across the country.
Speaking to Awake News, the Executive Producer of TOSKELE, Torgbe Sei II says the programme is designed to help invent the future, develop children’s intelligence, shape their careers and give exposure to participating schools.
According to him, the programme has two segments; teaching students in all schools on the relevance of electronics since is the backbone of Information Technology (IT) and how to build electronic gadgets whiles the second segment presents the opportunity for the students to demonstrate what they have learnt in a form of Quiz competition on a TV show.
Togbe revealed that the programme has also created employment opportunities for over 4000 graduates and calls for government collaboration to help expand the programme to cover many schools across the country hence contributing to employing more graduates.

Meet the Quiz Mistress, Mama Toskele:
Gloria Akpene Nyarku known as MzGee is a multimedia journalist and TV personality who has carved a niche for herself as one of the most influential in the arts.
She was the first female to have hosted the morning show on Hitz FM and captured Saturday morning radio on the same network for a long time.
She currently does high-profile interviews, the Prime Entertainment news and specials for Joy News and Joy Prime.
Beginning her career at the campus-based radio station at Cape Coast Technical University she rose through the ranks to her current position. She has also hosted several women development programmes including the 2017 Maternal health concert.
She was adorned with the distinguished woman award in the 2017 University of Ghana Elizabeth Frances Sey awards for her contributions to the development of women in the country along with numerous others like the Datalink University meritorious awards.
She has a degree in Marketing from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration GIMPA.
