Police on manhunt for 7 suspects who escaped from Kwabenya Police Cells

The Greater Accra Police Command is on a manhunt for seven suspects who were set free from the police cells by some group of armed robbers who attack the Kwabenya Police Station early this dawn.

According to a statement signed by the Greater Accra Regional Police PRO, Effia Tenge, the robbers in the process of freeing the suspect short on of the police officers.

The injured police officer was rushed to the 37 Military Hospital but unfortunately passed on while receiving treatment.

The police are therefore appealing to the general public to assist with information that could help arrest the freed suspects.

Meanwhile, Awake News’ checks revealed that the slain commander is Inspector Ashilevi.
