Congratulations Hon. Eric Opoku, Former Brong Ahafo Regional Minister

You have made us proud as members of the umbrella family in Brong Ahafo Hon.

Hearing the news on your award wasn’t surprising because some of us think it is oven long overdue.

You have been the voice of the suffering farmers in Parliament.

You have continued to be the voice of the poor farmer.

You have demonstrated that you haven’t forgotten your root, the Asonafo community and Brong Ahafo at large.

You have demonstrated to the world that the poor farmer across the rivers of Yeji also has a voice.

The world can never function without the Agric sector. And thank you for always putting the government on its toes.

Your intellectual debate on the floor of Parliament of Agric related issues has given us the hope that our farmers can never be taken for granted anymore by the NPP.

You have made the Agric Minister silence these days because he knew you will expose him as you usually do anytime he opens his mouth.

Your award as the Best MP for Communal and Rural Development in Ghana speaks volume about your passion for the poor farmer in Banda.

We are also informed following this award, The Ternopil State Economic University of Ukraine has agreed to confer an honorary Doctorate Degree on the Awardee on the 10th of May 2018 In Ukraine.

This a big win but not for you alone but Brong Ahafo, the entire NDC, and Ghana at large.

I wish you all the best in your quest to always make us proud as a family.

Once again Congratulations Hon.
