The rematch between Bukom Banku and Bastie Samir may be staged in Tamale

The rematch between Bukom Banku and Bastie Samir may be staged in Tamale after both boxers supported the idea of fighting in the Northern region.

The two boxers were on Starr Chat on Wednesday, October 25 and accepted to stage the match at the Tamale Sports Stadium even though

it has not been officially confirmed.

Banku and Bastie drew a huge crowd to the Bukom boxing arena last Saturday for their non-title bout which Bastie won.

Samir Bastie is a native of Tamale and has welcomed the idea of staging the fight in the Northern region and believes it will sell a lot.

Bola Ray has also pledged his support for the rematch and says he will do all he can to ensure the bout is staged in Tamale
