Abedi Pele earned € 846,000 from Dede’s transfer to Fenerbahce

Legendary ex-Ghanaian footballer Abedi Pele Ayew reportedly pocketed a whopping €846,000 from his son Andre Ayew’s recent move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce.

Dede signed a one-year loan deal with the Istanbul club from English Premiership side Swansea.

Pele, who has been the agent of his two sons, Andre and Jordan, reportedly brokered the deal between the two clubs, therefore, his cut of the deal.

Abedi was also the agent in Andre’s first move to Swansea in 2015 on a free transfer.

Dede Ayew rejoined Swansea from an unsuccessful stint at fellow Premiership side West Ham United in January.

Ayew started his career at French club Olympique Marseille and he has also played for Lorient. Fenerbahce will be his 5th club and his first for a club in Turkey.

The Black Stars vice-captain will wear the number 20 jersey at Fenerbahce.
