Mr. Amewu is an Energy Policy Analyst with concentration in Energy Management with a strong background in Finance. He is the currently Volta Region Regional Chairman of the NPP
He is a Senior Research Fellow and Policy Analist at the Africa Centre for Energy Policy since 2010.

He has completed a postgraduate degree in Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) in International Energy Industry Management from the University of Dundee – Scotland. He has graduated from the University of Ghana- Legon with Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with option in Finance.
Mr. Amewu is currently pursuing Masters in Petroleum Law and Policy (LLM) with concentration in World Fiscal Systems, Licensing and Monitoring and Regulation of the Upstream Sector from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP) in the University of Dundee – Scotland.
